Carved Mirror Frame, Red

Inspired by the beauty of excavated desert fossils, this ceramic mirror frame pairs a circular pattern with a rough organic gesture that carves away at layers of contrasting clays.

The round mirror frame is hand built from slab construction using a cream colored clay body, and then through a cumulative layered process, each layer of contrasting clay is carefully applied by brush.
