Flores Dome Pendant

The Flores Dome Pendant draws inspiration from both Brutalist design and Mexican folk traditions, balancing sculptural strength with minimalist ornament. Hand-formed from rich red clay, the pendant embraces raw materiality and architectural form while remaining playful and expressive.

Across the surface of the dome, hand-cut floral motifs are arranged in a rhythmic pattern. Their simple, graphic shapes cast delicate shadows, adding depth and visual movement when illuminated. The exterior of the dome is left unglazed, highlighting the natural warmth and texture of the red clay, while the interior is finished in a high-gloss cobalt glaze. This dramatic contrast—matte and earthy outside, luminous and reflective within—creates a vibrant glow and elevates the fixture from lighting to sculptural object.

Finished with antique brass hardware and a tan twisted cloth cord, this handmade ceramic pendant brings warmth, cultural reference, and bold material contrast to kitchens, dining areas, and entryways.
